Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

Occupational Drivers License

Yesterday my friends license has been suspended in Tarrant County.

Attourney tells her that it can take up to two weeks to ODL from state.

She has kids to take to school, shop for food...etc...

Can she literally not drive for those two weeks while her application for a ODL is processed ?

That is true -- if she does, and gets caught, it is DWLS, a criminal offense.
