DPS will try to suspend your license in an ALR hearing with will take place in about 40 days from the arrest date. However you need to file a notice that you will be contesting the suspension in about 15 days from the arrest date. If you do nothing, your license will be suspended after the hearing takes place. Get a DWI lawyer in your area that handles ALR hearings.
