Probation for DWI
My son (Mial) was put on probation for DWI. He was also court ordered to take Antibuse.
We are living with the consequences of his error, however, his probation officer is beyond anything I have ever heard of. He screams at Mial, tells him he's an alcoholic, tells him I'm a bad mother because I chose to remain married to my husband (who is an alcoholic). Mial has done everything required. He has paid his fine, attends classes two nights per week, and has paid for and will attend a DWI class the end of this month.
My family lives with one car,
the probation officer refuses
to take into consideration requests for afternoon meetings, accused Mial of making a joke about PR office being closed for Christmas and then went off on him about being an alcoholic and that he was going to force him into Drug Court (which means he will have to go to court every Friday until the end of his probation.) Is there anything I can legally do to have this man taken out of the picture?
He obviously doesn't like Mial, which is strange, because he's an easy going kid. Mial says he doesn't even remember making the joke, but knows he does kid around, so it's possible. Personnally,
I think we've done everything
possible to follow his rules.

Yes, you need to see the probation officer's supervisor and director and voice your specific complaints to them.
