Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

I was recently put on probation for a DWI.

I have been on methadone assisted treatment

for about five years,my P.O told I have to ween off of it

I don't understand ,it's a prescription from a legitimate

Doctor.Why can they do this?and is there any way

around it?

All PO's have a boss. Tell them you want to appeal their decision. If that is not enough, appeal to the director of probation. If that doesn't do it, you may have to go back to court to amend your conditions of probation.
