My son was arrested for DUI (Minor). The officer said he pulled him over because he couldn\'t see the front license plate on the car. It had fallen off but was clearly visable through the windshield on his dashboard. The officer admitted to not seeing it until he pulled him over. Is this enough to question probable cause for the stop?

It is legal to have the plate on the front dash of the vehicle. There is some caselaw, however, that implies if an officer does not see it until after the stop is made, then the stop is not invalid. There is a chance the prosecutor does not know this. Get a lawyer and try to challenge the stop.
