My Son Was Pulled Over and arrested
My son spent the night in jail..The officer pulled him over,claiming he was weaving....Son did some drinking,claims he was cited for public intox,I thought when you get pulled over for driving drunk that would be a DWI...Confused here

It sounds as if you do not have the full story of events. He needs to get a lawyer to sort this out. If it was not DWI, then it seems it would have been DUI. Maybe there was not enough evidence of intoxication to justify either charge, which would seem to defeat the PI charge.
