if my son recieved a dui and got 18 months probation how long will his drivers license be suspended

I assume your son was convicted for the first time on a driving while intoxicated charge. If so, and he takes the DWI class in the allotted time, he won't have a drivers license suspension as a result of the DWI conviction. He would only be facing the administrative license suspension from refusing to provide a breath or blood sample or for having a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or higher.
The administrative suspension for failing the breath or blood test would be 90 days and the suspension would be 180 days for refusing to provide a sample.
If this was not a first DWI offense, the suspension periods change.
Your son's attorney should be able to tell you exactly what the situation is with his license.
