Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

what state should I obtain a layer in.

I was stopped and arrested for DUI in Tx but am a resident in Ma. Can I get a Attorney from my home state in Ma? I was told that court cases for out of state arrests can sometimes be fought on video conference.

Is this true?

Thank You in advance for your answer.

You need a Texas lawyer. If you do not appear in court on your court date, or your attorney has not had your appearance waived, then it is a FTA, your bond will be forfeited, and a warrant issued.

You are dreaming. This is not going to be done by video conferencing. You need an attorney licensed in Texas, or admittable pro hoc vice. It is a nice wish, but consult a criminal defense attorney in Texas ASAP, so that you know your rights, and can appreciate the case the state has against you. This will permit you to mount a defense or make other decisions, such as a plea.
