Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

i had a truck impounded when arrested for dwi, they said they were going to confincate the truck and if i did get it back i would have to have a tester thing put in it, now they are calling me to just come get the truck. why would they change their story, i did have to get a blood test

There is no way to speculate, as to why you have been advised to pick up your vehicle, but you need to go get it. Moreover, property cannot be confiscated without a court order.
