Re: violation of probation

The range of applicable consequences are the same as they were when you were first arrested for the DWI, a fine of up to $2,000.00, or jail from 72 hours or 3 days up to 180 days in jail, or both, of course that is if you plead guilty or were found guilty and sentenced to 6 mos in jail probated for 6 months, if plead to a lesser time, then you face that time as the maximum time or worse case scenario. In other words if you were originally sentenced to 90 days probated for however much time you were given for probation then you only face up to 90 days in jail. I would recommend that you hire an attorney to help you with this matter.
