Legal Question in Education Law in Texas
My 9 years old daughter is in privet school in Houston, TX
She is Russian descent US citizen. She was prohibited to talk to other Russian girl in Russian language during the lunch brake in school. Does school have a legal right to do that?
What legal action we can take?

This may be just one person restricting it and not actually school policy. Talk to the principal and find out more detail. If it is the school policy and you don't agree with it, then you should consider taking legal action. If you do so, however, there will be social repercussions and it may adversely affect your daughter's education. You will need to decide whether it is better to take legal action or not.
