Education Loan Fraud - Technical college applied for loan, when not attending an

My boyfriend attended XXXXXX Technical Institute, and had originally applied for an Education Loan through YYYYYY. The money went directly to XXXXXX Tech. After he was no longer attending classes, they continued to apply for education loans, using an electronic signature, (on one form I've seen, it looks to be complete forgery). Neither XXXXXX Tech nor YYYYYY have been forthcoming to fixing the problem. . .its ruining his credit. . . YYYYYYY says he will owe them $10,000. Would this be a good contingency case? Who can he contact to fix the problem?

Call the Attorney General immediately. Look in the blue pages of the phonebook and locate the toll free number under the State section. This is a crime, if it is how you report it. You need to have a criminal investigation of this crime. If you have had credit ruined or been damaged in your career, you may be able to seek money damages later, within 2 years of the time you knew or should have known of the injury (when you realized or should have realize that you didn't apply for the loan that they say you got). Crimes are investigated at no cost to you.
