My 86 year old father married a 68 year old woman last year in Texas. She convinced him to sell his house at 1/2 the value and all the belongings inside. His first wife ( my mother)died and left everything to him in her will in 2000. We 3 children tried everything in our power to convince my dad not to sell the house. He did and everything in it. This 2nd wife died last week. Now, her daughters are telling my dad he has 6 months to stay in the house and nothing inside is his. There was no prenuptial agreement. Now, my dad is looking to move into an apartment and seems to be influenced the the step daughters. Can he be thrown out in the street?

One must presume your dad moved into the house belonging to the new wife??but a spouse has the right to stay in a home until death..he should see a lawyer now..and not move...but hesounds competent...call us or some lawyer in your area
