Property seized by the state
My parents live in Texas. They are both in their 80's but still live on their own. I have been told that if they go into a Nursing Home and the state has to pay for their care then once they both die the state of Texas can take all but $10,000 of their estate. Is the true? Is there a way for my sister and I to stop this?
