Breach of Contract in Houston,Texas
I and my partner along with 9 other couples from other parts of Texas were featured in a dance video where we signed a contract of how much percent we are to get along with any revenue that is pulled in. The video was shot Feb. 2003 and as of today haven't received any money from the video or any revenue. The tapes are being sold throughout the state in stores, advertised on the radio and has even been on television. One of the couple on the video sent an e-mail to the individual and cc: me about the money from the video and the individual never replied. The thing that discusses me is this individual sees me out just about every Sun. because we all meet up and frequent swing dance at this club. He has never even mention to me about when am I going to get paid but he does brag about me and some of the other dances being featured on television from the video. I did have a verbal conversation about this matter to the individual on January 11, 2004 and his reply was just try and gets it. Yes, the videos are selling. I have tried to contact an attorney but no one seems to want to handle this case. Help, what should I do. I am also a student going to school for legal studies.

When was the contract signed? Was it signed in Houston? Do you have copies of all the written communications? The contract?
