Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have 2 children 8 and 5, My ex is re-married to a stripper who does not want my children around. I am re married as well. I have joint custody, and gave him primary so my daughter could stay in the same school. after a few years my kids still hate the step mom and she does not like them either, She has left him 2 times in the past few months... My children have seen them fighting etc.and I have them more than 75% of the time. (and I pay him CS) Can I go back to court and request primary residence. What is the law on this, I don't want to take a gamble. I am trying to see what the law is on this in Texas

Yes, you can file a motion for modification and ask the Court to change the order based on the changed circumstances. Dad will fight you, because you will be asking for child support.

The Court is required to make its decision based on the best interest of the children.
