Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My 2 grandchildren have been placed in care with their great grandmother when removed from their mother care by CPS. My daughter wanted my youngest grandson placed with me but because of a history with CPS over 20 years ago I can not have him. Is there anything I can do?

If there is a court case, file an intervention in the case. If there is not a court case, you can see whether you have standing to file a custody suit under section 102.003(a) of the Texas Family Code. If you do have standing, you can file a lawsuit for custody of the child.
