Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

what can i do???

I am 16 but I am legaly married, does that make me an adult or do i still have to get immancipated??? Can my mother make me stay at her house even if I don't want to???

If you had the proper parental consent for an underage marriage, under section 1.104 of the Texas Family Code, you now have the capacity and power of an adult, including the capacity to contract, except as expressly provided by statute or by the constitution - meaning you still can't vote, etc.

Your mother cannot make you stay at her house. But, be careful burning those bridges, as you may need them later.
