Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am 17 & I live in the state of texas. I want to move out. Can I just leave or what do I need to do.?

Until you are 18, your parents / guardians are in control of where you live. If you move out without permission, they can report you as a runaway and you will be returned and anyone who helps you and knows you are a runaway can be prosecuted.
