Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I have a 16 month old and have split with boyfriend. We still haven't settled on visitations or child support. We went to mediation and agreed and signed rough draft. Next day his mother called the lawyer and said they weren't happy with outcome and want a do-over, her son is refusing now to sign the agreement. We went to court Friday and now have a new mediation date in a couple of weeks. In orginal agreement he specifically had it put in I can't move from this county, not even to surrounding counties. Since this is void now, can I move and have this case transferred to new county? I don't want to stay here where his family is aggresive towards me and controlling their sons decisions. I have no family here and want to move closer to family. Please HELP, can I move now before I get stuck with a 17 year sentence to stay here?

You don't have any grounds for transferring the case to a different county.
After this second mediation, if you don't settle, somebody needs to have the Judge set this case for trial.
