Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am 8 months pregnant and not with the child's father. I would like to know what rights his parents (child's grandparents) have? His mother is threatening me with "grandparent rights" . Is it easy for her to obtain this rights or is there even such thing?

The person who impregnated you is the child's father.
Generally, the grandparents do not have rights except through their own child. To have rights on their own, they would have to prove that you are an unfit parent. If there is concern over this, you should get an attorney. Actually, you should have one anyway so that when the child is born you can get orders concerning, your parental rights, possession and child support.
