Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I have a 1 year old daughter I have custody of her and dad has her every 1 3 and 5th wknd he took her from me and never brought her back and told me he wasn't going too I filed a writ of cabeus he was ordered to bring her to court he never showed up I'm told I can file a writ of attachment but my question is if I file this and judge grants this will I get my child back its going on 3 wks! This is first time he's kept her this long I always had her 24/7 7 days a wk he never kept her over night!!

The writ of attachment is the way to go. Law enforcement will take the child from him. The court order that you have custody is enough for the local law enforcement to enforce it, but some refuse to get involved.
