Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my 15 year old daughter is pregnant. my insurance coverage i have on her does not cover pregnancy. my ex wife told me i will have to pay half of the medical bills. why do I have too why doesn't the father of the baby pay for it.

If your divorce decree says that you have to pay 50% of the uninsured medical expenses, then you just do because the court ordered it. Now whether you want to sue the birth father for indemnification is another issue. (You would lose that kind of a suit.)
