Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have a 17year old daughter that is wanting to move into her Father's house instead of the 3/4 day split that we have been doing for the past 5 years. Is this legal?

If both parents consent (preferably in a writing filed with the court) it is legal. If he files a motion to modify and gets a court order to that effect, it is legal as well.
