17 year old who leaves home- parents responsibilety

Where is the boundaries of financial responsebility of a parent when a 17 year old leaves home against the advice of her father?

Parents retain their parental responsibilities, including financial ones, until their children reach the age of majority. However, a seventeen-year-old who is self-supporting and managing her own financial affairs may petition for emancipation from minority. If emancipation is granted, the disabilities of minority are removed, including the disability to contract.

You are no longer responsible for her once she becomes 18 and is legally considered an adult.

Notice that I did not say she would act in an adult manner!
