Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have a 16 year old relative who was pregnant but has since delivered the baby. She has been trying to serve the teenage boy (presumed father) with paternity suit papers but has been unsuccessful. Hearing date was reset because of unserved papers. What else can be done?

Does she has a private attorney? It sounds like she is using the TX A G office.

A private attorney is usually successful in serving the other party. Or if he is evading service, a Motion for Substituted Service can be done by the process server and the attorney to present to the Judge for the Judge to sign an order to allow substituted service.

I hope this helps.
