Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My 8 year old son decided he was going to leave the baseball field and walk home. a block away, maybe 300yds from the field, he was stopped by a police. The police was prude when we arrived on seen to pick him up. She gave me the feeling that she was or is going to call cps on us.
From the beginning, Our children (3) ride the bus to the boys and girls club everyday. My oldest boy (12) has baseball practice at 530p and b&g club is closed at 6p. we were 5 miles away from b&g club at 555p. When we pulled up to pick them up the building was locked down for the night. We figured a family member who works there took them home. My daughter (6) had rode the bus home. My oldest left to practice from the b&g @ 530p and took his little brother (8) mentioned above) with him. While he was practicing my 8yr old took off walking.
My question is.....Are there any grounds for cps to bother us behind this? We got to the cop who had my son @ 615-620p. so we are talking about a 20-30 minute window. TX

There could be a problem because age 8 is rather young for a child to be without adult supervision.
