Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

i have a 2 year old son the father and i have joint custody but the child lives with his father. recently the father of my child sent my son out of state with the fathers father and i need some advice on what to do. is this legal?

If you have joint custody, then there's a court order somewhere. You'll need to read the court order to see if there is a restriction against sending the child out of state.

Did he send him there for a visit? Send him there permanently?
