Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am 17 years old with a one month old baby, the dad is 20 year old. He and his mother are upset because I don't allow my son to go to the moms house. I do let the dad come nd see him whenever he wants though. But now their saying their taking me to court. They have more money then I do nd know the judge. What most likely will the judge tell me? Can I get full custody if I press charges for me being a minor nd him getting me pregnant? He has his dad lasttime but he didnt sign the birth certificate can I leave 12 hours away without him knowing? What can happen if I do? The dad is a alcoholic nd was arrested for kidnapping when he was 16 nd also when I stayed over his mother took the baby from me nd had him thru the night nd when I got him back he didn't wake up he was asleep all day I'd move him nd he stayed asleep. She obviously gave him something so I don't want him anywhere near her.

Since you are a minor one of your parents are going to have to be in court as your representatives. If your parents don't have legal custody of you, then whoever has legal custody of you will be the person that will be in court with you.
You are asking a lot of very important legal questions. The person that is legally responsible for you will need to hire an attorney to represent you and the baby.
As a minor, you need an adult to represent your interests (and your baby's interests) in the courtroom.
Please have the adult that you are living with hire an attorney immediately.
They can threaten you all they want. However, only a judge can decide what to do.
The legal process is extremely complex -- especially because under Texas law you are considered a minor child yourself! The laws of the State of Texas were not written for minor children to give birth to children!
