Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my 18 yr. old daughter and her 6 mo. old baby live with me. she has beat me up twice. cps was called by the police when i reported her beating me and they came to the house that i rent. she puts on a sweet face to them and makes me the villain. what can i do to get her out of my house? and see that my grandbaby is taken care of at the same time? help!

If the child has lived with you for at least 6 months, you can file a suit affecting the parent child relationship and ask to become a managing conservator of the child. Once that suit is over, if you win, kick you daughter out and keep your grandchild. If you lose, you're going to have a hard decision to make.
