Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
abandament by one parent
If one parent has not seen a child, in over six months and has not seen the child, but a few times in the last 2 years. Is there away to file abandament without using a lawyer? I would like the father to give up all rights. He cant be found for child support.

You don't have to be a lawyer to take your case before the judge if you know how to do it. If you don't know how, you would be better off to hire a lawyer. It' kind of like taking out your own tonsils - sure, you can do it with a mirror and a sharp knife, but most people go to a doctor.
