abusive parent

child protect service has placed me with grandparents because mom being absive to me. will be 17 soon how can i stay with grandparents and not mom i dont want to see or be around her anymore but she says owns me till i am 18 we dont have money so how can i stay with them without her having police come get me

This is a sad but not uncommon situation. CPS has a lot of cases and only limited time and resources to handle them. In a perfect world CPS would have filed a lawsuit when they placed you with your grandparents and the Court would have formally appointed them as your conservators. That would have put an end to your Mother's threats to take you back. My guess is CPS only did a Safety Plan and it has expired. Your grandparents really, really need to go talk to a good family law attorney who deals with CPS cases just as soon as possible. Many family law attorneys will work out payments plans or there may legal aid available in your area. Good luck!
