Abusive X spouse attempting to Kidnap 2 yr old daughter

I am currently going through a divorce and my x husband has made several threats that have been reported to the police to kidnap my daughter and take her to California. A child support order is currently in place saying he can see her every other wknd which he has not and never has abided by. Now he is upset because i filed for a divorce and is saying he will kidnap her and has shown up on 3 occassions now to kidnap her and on one occasion has shown up with a family member from California in a car with california plates on it. How can I get full custody of my child to prevent me from loosing her to a man who has never been around and now only wants to be around out of anger of having to pay child support and the divorce? I need urgent legal advice I don't want to loose my daughter and I don't want to get into any trouble. My husband has a history of violence and has went to jail before for beating me I know for a fact he will carry through on this threat. Please Help.
