Accidental Injury

A person accidently rolls over on an infant (sleeping with baby), and possibly caused rib fractures unknowingly. Have given statements to the investigating officer. Can this person be arrested and jailed?

Anything is possible. Most people would not roll over on their baby or not sleep with their baby if they thought this could happen; so your account may sound questionable to the authorities.
