Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Adopted childrens legal rights

Do adpoted children have more legal rights than natural born children at the death of the parents in matters of the estate left. Does the adopted child have more legal rights to that estate if there was no will or if the adopted child was excluded from it. I would like to know if there has ever been, from any state, a law that prevents adopting parents from excluding an adopted child from their will or from any inheritance?

Re: Adopted childrens legal rights

Natural and adopted children are generally treated the same for inheritance purposes without preference either way.
