Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my adopted son was killed in a wreck and one of his freinds took everything that he ownrd from his Texas residence to her residence in Lousianna she will not return any of his things he was not married to her or any one else and he has no children what are my options on getting his property back she also signed legal documents without permission stating she was his sister whick she is not he was an only child
