Please direct me in the area of adoption of my girlfriends 2 children.I want to download a legal contract that she will give me adoption rights where I can give them insurance coverage.she is illigal but the children were born here.we will marry this year but the legal road is long for her meanwhile i can give coverage to her children.

we have lived together 1 1/2 yrs. and plan to marry this summer. thank you in this matter.

The courts usually don't want to do step-parent adoptions until you've been married a couple of years. They want to make sure the marriage "takes".

Once you marry, you should be able to add the children on your health insurance since they live with you.
