adoption and divorse

my husband and I have a 6 yr old which I have raised since 6 weeks old we have not finaziled the adoption we are waiting on the home vist and go to court. but we ar separated at this time.

can i still follow though with the adoption without saying anything,or do i start from the beining

I am not sure why this adoption has taken nearly six years to complete, but surely you have an attorney representing you in the adoption and in the divorce. These are delicate issues that you need to discuss with your lawyer.
