Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Adoptive Mother is Abusive

How can I protect my grandson from his adoptive mother? She is abusive to him and I live in another state. Can my son and I take him away from her? Can she give him back to us since she speaks plainly about hating him and wanting him out of her life?

Re: Adoptive Mother is Abusive

If by 'abusive' you mean that she is hurting this child, call the police.

If your son is the bio (with rights) or adoptive father of this child, he needs to hire an attorney immediately in Texas to get this child, and this situation in front of a judge.

I don't know what you mean by 'give him back to us', but if she doesn't want this child, and hates him, then you need to move fast to accommodate her.
