Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

adult child support

My husband owes child support on his 27 year old. Can they attach anything to my assets? I own a house (before we were married) and want to know if They can involve me in anyway.

Re: adult child support

Only your husband owes child support. You can be involved to the extent that he may have a community property interest in your house, but that is less than a 50/50 chance. If you have joint checking or other money accounts, they might be seized - if there is a judgment for the arrearage. Better see a lawyer like I said in the last message.
