adult childrens' rights to child support in arrears

What are the rights of adult children to sue for child support in arrears? Can a 23 year old child sue for child support in arrears at the time of his 18th birthday?

In the 1999 session, the Texas Legislature changed Family Code, Section 157.005 - Time Limitations; Enforcement of Child Support, so that you can obtain a money judgment "until the date all current child support and medical support and child support arrearages, including interest and any applicable fees and costs, have been paid."

However, the remedy of contempt is only available for six months after the child becomes an adult.
