No. Neither is it a crime in most American jurisdictions. However adultry may be a ground for divorce when, for example, the non-adulterous spouse seeks an unequal distribution of community assets.

No, adultery is no longer a crime here in Texas. However, in a divorce based upon fault where adultery is pleaded as a ground for the divorce, the court may award an unequal amount of the martial property to the spouse that did not commit the adultery.
