Advice on how to get our daughter back

my wife and I are trying to get our daughter back from my mother in law. She has had her for 5years, 3 of those years she had temp. guardenship over her only through nortary public. We have since revoked the guardianship through the same nortary public. We have tried on numorous occassions to get her back but every time we try my mother in law runs with our daughter. My wife and I want our daughter back but we dont know what else to do. when my mother in law found out she had no legal documents or rights to our daughter she ran and hid from us. We recently found where she had our daughter in school @ when we tried to go get her the school notified my mother in law an dnow shes running and hiding again. What should we do? Please help.
