At what age would my child be when his dad would no longer have to pay support, and how many years afterward would my child or I be able to pursue child support if none was ever pursued or ordered or paid before?

Eighteen or when he graduates high school, whichever happens last. (unless he has been emancipated).

You can seek child support back four years. If you sought it before, and obtained an arrearage judgment, then that is a 10 year, renewable for another 10 years judgment.
