age of minor being left alone at home/latch key
What is the age by law that you can leave a child home alone for a short period of time, such as after school until parent gets home from work?

Parents are always responsible for their children. I was left alone when I was five and luckily nothing every happened to harm me. But a judge would probably question leaving an immature child alone very long or a young child. There is no set age that I'm aware of because it mainly depends on the maturity of the child and of you.
