Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I agreed to no child support from my ex for our twins even though we agreed to Joint Custody .I have been on SSDI since 2003 due to a spinal chord injury. I was broke; didnt want to put my toddlers through a trial; and supremely hopefully I could work full time with success again. I did work full time as an executive but my health caused me to lose the job after 6 months and it injured me a bit. I tried another less taxing "returnship" but the resultants the same. We divorced in July of 2013. Despite being a Tulane Grad who had a career I can no longer be gainfully employed. How can this affect requester modified support and request I receive more time (basically set my address as primary). Right now we see them on a 2-2-5-5 schedule and share all rights and responisibilities, but his address is primary.

You would file a petition with the Court that would seek modification of the decree. Your petition would ask that

1. you be designated the person who has the exclusive right to determine the children's residence.

2. Dad be ordered to pay you child support.

Your lawyer will want about $15,000 up front.
