Amend the original petition

I have already filed my petiton for divorce ,and realized I should have included the clause to change my name back to what it was before my marriage. Can I file an amendment? How do I do that?

It is Petitioner's First Amended Petition.

Your law librarian might be able/willing to assist you.

Pleadings are a critical aspect of the law, and is an excellent reason to retain a lawyer.
