Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am an American Soldier stationed in Germany, my 10 month old baby boy is in Elsa, Texas with his mother. We are not married and are not on good terms. I have no court order to pay child support, even though i have been providing for him with my own money. As a father do i still have my rights to see him, without a court order? I do not agree to the terms that the mother has provided and thus am going to court. Is she able to withhold my child from me when i go to visit?

Until your paternity is established by a court order, Mom doesn't have to let you see the child. When you file your paternity suit, ask for temporary orders.
