Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Annulment
My question is: How many days can pass that an annulment can take place before time lapses where you have to file for divorce

Re: Annulment
Annulment does not come up often in Texas since it is such a narrowly written law in our state.
I don't have the Texas Family Code in front of me, but as I recall there is no waiting period (or "cooling off" period) in Texas.
A divorce must be on file in Texas a minimum of 61 days -- but annulment appears in a different section of that Code
I assume you have an attorney helping you, so just ask him/her to look it up.
You can always access the Texas Family Code but using any major internet search engine and typing in Texas Family Code. Just look under "annulment".
Best of luck!
