How to answer divorce petition
I want to counterclaim a petition for divorce. Do I file a separate counter petion or can I add to the answer by use of a counterclaim. This petition is in the state of Texas.

My response is not intended to be insulting, it is intended to educate. Many many many people ask this question in various forms.
You are asking attorneys to teach you how to practice law. Can't do it. That's what 4 years of college, 3 years of law school, and in my case 25 years of experience teaches you. If you believe you are able to do this on your own, you should be at the law library. If you realize this is far more complicated than you thought, please go hire a lawyer to protect your interests, and your rights.
